TOP Network™ began with a simple conviction: people should have the tools, relationships and opportunities they need to translate their potential into purposeful action.
Where the story began
Our story began in 2020, during a period of profound global disruption. After delivering a Women in Leadership programme, our founder, Sherrone Blake Lobban, recognized that a single training engagement, however valuable, could only go so far. Participants needed a way to remain connected, continue learning and support one another beyond the programme.
During the uncertainty of the COVID-19 pandemic, Sherrone created a way for the women to remain connected. What began during the COVID-19 pandemic as a simple way to stay in touch quickly grew into a community of more than 100 women. They shared encouragement, knowledge, opportunities and practical support at a time when connection mattered deeply.
That early community revealed something important: people do not progress through information alone. They also need trusted relationships, continued development, access to opportunity and the confidence to act.
It was an early expression of what TOP would become.

An idea shaped through experience
In the years that followed, the idea continued to evolve through Ladies Leadership Lunch and Learn gatherings held in Canada and conversations with professionals, entrepreneurs, leaders and organizations locally and around the world.
These interactions reflected a pattern Sherrone had witnessed throughout her career.
She had spent much of her professional life working with people, organizations and institutions across Africa, the Caribbean, Europe and North America, helping them move from where they were to where they needed to be. Across remarkably different environments, she encountered the same paradox:
“There is no shortage of potential, but potential alone does not create progress.”
There are talented people carrying ideas they have never acted upon. There are accomplished professionals with considerable experience who remain uncertain about what comes next. Others know where they want to go but lack access to relationships, resources or opportunities that could help them get there.
At the same time, organizations hold programmes, expertise, resources and opportunities capable of making a meaningful difference, if they can reach the right people at the right time.
TOP Network™ was created to help connect these pieces.
From purpose to purposeful action
We believe purpose is more than discovering what you are called or equipped to do.
It requires developing the capability to use what you have been given. It requires access to relationships and opportunities that make meaningful contribution possible. It also requires the courage, discipline and support to act.
